More Sun=Sun Dresses!

With the sun beginning to make regular appearances, I have a strong urge to make dresses. Upcycled dresses. I know. I have three boys. Why not make some fun spring clothing for boys? I will. I just love making dresses. It fills my girly needs:)

I made this dress from a man's button up shirt.

I gathered the bodice.

I silk screened a pink flower onto green t-shirt scraps to applique onto the dress.

and braided some t-shirt scraps to make straps for the dress in yellow and green. 

I love the fresh colors and light weight fabric. It's fun and perfect for the soon to come, warmer weather.
